OLEKSANDR

OLEKSANDR is a Ukrainian-American DJ and producer based in San Francisco. His love of music began with his grandmother playing vinyl records—from Italian songs and music from around the world to Eurodance. Growing up, he taught himself piano, learned guitar, and listened widely: classics, pop, rock, hip-hop, and whatever else caught his ear.

Going to clubs in Ukraine deepened his connection to electronic music and sparked his curiosity about DJing and performing. What he simply called “club music” became a world of sounds to explore.

He moved to the United States in 2015. Attending Ultra Music Festival in Miami became a turning point, inspiring him to take that interest further. In 2019, he began DJing and became part of the scene, exploring different genres before expanding into production.

His musical tastes remain broad, but melodic, progressive, trance-infused sounds have always felt closest to home. His sets reflect that connection—a chance to share the music that moves him and bring people together through it.

Since 2020, OLEKSANDR and friends have organized Sunset Beats, a series of outdoor parties by the ocean on the California coast.
