What You'll Learn

Every lesson is hands-on. You are on the decks from the first minute, not watching a slideshow.

Gear & Setup

Controllers, CDJs, and mixers demystified. Learn what each channel does and how to get a clean signal every time.

Beatmatching

Match tempo and phrase by ear, then use sync as a tool rather than a crutch.

EQ & Transitions

Blend tracks without mud. Filter sweeps, bass swaps, and transitions that land.

Track Selection

Build a crate with intent. Key, energy, and how to plan a set that breathes.

Reading the Room

Adjust in real time. Learn to feel a dance floor and steer it where you want.

Recording & Branding

Record clean mixes, build a press kit, and put yourself in front of promoters.

How It Works

1

Book a free intro call

Fifteen minutes to talk through your goals, your gear, and where you are starting from.

2

Build your plan

We map a lesson path around the music you actually want to play — no generic curriculum.

3

Get on the decks

Sessions are hands-on from minute one. You mix, I coach, and you leave with homework.

4

Play out

When you are ready, we prep a set and get you in front of a real room.

Questions

Do I need my own equipment?

No. Lessons run on club-standard gear at the studio. If you do have a controller at home, bring it and we will work on your setup so practice carries over.

I have never DJ'd before. Is that a problem?

Not at all — most students start from zero. The Starter Session is built exactly for that, and you will make a real mix in your first ninety minutes.

In person or online?

Both. In-person sessions happen in San Francisco. Remote lessons run over video with screen and audio share, which works well for controller-based setups.

What genres do you teach?

House, techno, trance, and progressive are home turf, but the fundamentals transfer to any genre. We build your crate around music you actually love.
